The website
The website has no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, accounts, or payment collection. Maps, fonts, and other page assets are included with the website.
On your device
The app saves your selected location, interface preferences, and sharing choice on your device. You can clear these records in Settings. Closing the app window keeps EthicalVPN running in the background; choose Quit to disconnect and close the app.
Connecting to the VPN
The app creates a pair of device keys to set up your connection. Your private key stays on your device. The selected VPN server receives your public key and keeps a temporary access record so it can allow your device to connect. The app also uses a short-lived access credential for that connection.
A VPN does not guarantee anonymity. This notice does not make a no-logs promise or claim an independent privacy audit.
Proxy sharing
Proxy sharing means third-party traffic can use your bandwidth, device resources, and public IP. Sharing requires your explicit consent through a box that is never checked for you. The sharing model is designed for verified business customers and permitted business use, without open public proxy access.
Your controls
Open Sharing and choose Withdraw consent to remove your permission to share and disconnect free VPN access. You can reset local preferences in Settings or uninstall the app. Clearing preferences is separate from withdrawing consent; use Withdraw consent to end your access.
Service details
Operator identity, contact details, retention periods, and the process for reporting misuse will be published before public availability. Sharing may only operate with business customer verification, resource limits, and use and data handling policies in place. Customer access must be limited to verified businesses for permitted business use.
