Using EthicalVPN

EthicalVPN provides a desktop VPN with locations in Germany, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom. Visit Downloads for current availability on your device.

Free access and sharing

There is no subscription or paid tier. Free VPN access requires explicit consent to proxy sharing. This means third-party traffic can use your bandwidth, device resources, and public IP. The consent box is never checked for you. The sharing model is designed for verified business customers and permitted business use, without open public proxy access.

Decline or withdraw

You can decline before connecting or withdraw consent in Sharing at any time. Withdrawal removes your permission to share and disconnects free VPN access. It does not create a payment obligation.

No torrenting

Torrenting and peer-to-peer file sharing are prohibited on EthicalVPN.

Use responsibly

Use EthicalVPN only on devices and networks where you have permission. Do not use it to harm others, gain unauthorized access, or carry out unlawful activity. A VPN does not guarantee anonymity or remove your responsibility for how you use the internet.

Service details

Operator identity, contact details, retention periods, and the process for reporting misuse will be published before public availability. Sharing may only operate with business customer verification, resource limits, and use and data handling policies in place. Customer access must be limited to verified businesses for permitted business use.
